LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California can expect rain and some snow in the forecast for a couple days this week, including about half an inch of rain on Wednesday in some areas.
More rain is expected on Thursday and some snow will also fall in the mountains before it all clears out in time for the weekend.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will be partly sunny with some rain amid a high of 64 degrees. Another round of rain is on tap for Thursday.
Similar conditions are expected in the valleys and Inland Empire on Wednesday, including half an inch of rain. The high will reach 65 degrees, dipping to 48 at night.
Beaches can expect a high of 60 degrees with some rain as well. A 60% chance of rain is on tap for Thursday.
Winter-like conditions return to the mountain communities on Wednesday with some evening showers. On Thursday, however, residents should be prepared to see some snow begin to fall.
Deserts will be in the lower 60s on Wednesday with some evening showers on the forecast. On Thursday, there’s a 60% of rain amid a high of 59 degrees.
