Building Envelope Consulting Services
We offer comprehensive waterproofing consulting from the design phase to redlining, the construction phase and through to quality assurance.
California Consultants has been in business since 1990 and in this time we have teamed up with developers and architects alike to design full enclosure waterproofing systems that are not only specific to each waterproofing manufacturer’s requirements, but also specific to each project—which in the end, will always take a tremendous burden off of the developer and architectural design team.
From the roof, breezeways, curtain walls, podiums and planters, to below grade structures, it is imperative to keep each element of a building dry. Whether it’s a single family residence built into a hillside or a 40 story high-rise in the center of a major metropolitan city,California Consultants can successfully design the best watertight building envelope system for every type of project.
Our team of waterproofing experts are trained and certified through RCI, Inc. and the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry’s Exterior Insulation and Finishing System (EIFS) program. Additionally, we stay current on the warranty requirements of every major waterproofing manufacturer. To that end we offer a variety of consulting options, including plan review and redlines, as well as easy-to-read comprehensive plans that include project-specific details and specifications. What sets us apart is that we are highly responsive to our client’s requests and provide a customer intimacy strategy that is unique in this industry.
The easily recognizable property of water brings on many construction lawsuits, including the resultant litigations for mold and mildew, and the very reason why designing comprehensive waterproofing systems for structures is one of the most important services, including inspection of waterproofing systems installation, that California Consultants provides.
